Twist Lock Clasp for Bags 100 × 26 mm, Metal

Twist Lock Clasp 100 × 26 mm – Fasten Bags and Clutches Securely

The 100 × 26 mm twist lock clasp closes bags, clutches, pouches and other handmade projects. You can use it for new projects or as a replacement part when the old clasp on a bag is broken. It is made of sturdy metal, and the fixings are included. Choose your colour from the options.

At 100 mm long, the clasp is a clearly visible detail on the bag flap. So plan ahead whether the flap or front of your bag can take a width of 26 mm and a length of 100 mm.

Fitting the clasp

Before fitting, mark the position of both parts so that the twist piece and the counterpart meet exactly when closed. Check the position on the folded material before you fix it, as a clasp that sits off-centre is hard to correct. Reinforce thin fabrics at the fixing points with interfacing or an extra piece of fabric so that they do not tear out.
