Papier-mâché Cones 10 x 5 cm, Pack of 10

Papier-mâché Cones – 10 Pieces to Paint and Decorate

These papier-mâché cones are blanks for crafting: you can paint, cover or decorate them however you like. The pack contains 10 cones measuring 10 x 5 cm. Small cones can become fir trees for an Advent table, hats for figures or building blocks for table decorations. With 10 pieces of the same size, you can make a whole group in a uniform size.

Decorating the cones

Papier-mâché is absorbent. To help the paint cover evenly and not soak in, first apply a thin base coat of acrylic paint or gesso and leave it to dry thoroughly. Then paint in two thin layers rather than one thick one, which gives a smoother finish. Stick on paper, fabric, napkins or decorative elements with craft glue. Let each layer dry completely before continuing.

Which size to choose?

At 10 x 5 cm, these cones are fairly small and suit table decorations, figures or groups of a uniform size. For larger individual pieces, there are the 20 x 8 cm papier-mâché cones, 5 pieces.
