Decorating the frame

Acrylic paints stick directly to the cardboard. Apply the paint in thin layers and let each layer dry, so the cardboard does not soak through and warp. Décopatch paper is a good choice for patterns: stick it on in pieces to cover the whole surface. Once dry, stand the frame on a shelf or chest of drawers using the stand.

Which size to choose

The smaller size has an opening of 135 × 85 mm, the larger one an opening of 160 × 110 mm. Measure your photo first and choose the size where the opening is slightly smaller than the picture, so the edges stay hidden.
