Rayher white matchboxes for crafts, pack of 10

Rayher white matchboxes – plain, ready to decorate

Rayher matchboxes are white, plain boxes for decorating and filling. The pack contains 10 boxes measuring 5.2 × 3.5 × 1.4 cm. They are sturdy and particularly suitable for homemade advent calendars.

Because the boxes are plain, you can choose the design freely: paint them, cover them, stamp them or decorate them with numbers, ribbon and small charms. The white surface shows off colours and papers well.

Ideas and planning for an advent calendar

With 10 boxes per pack, it is easy to plan the quantity: for 24 doors you need three packs, and the remaining boxes can be used for gift packaging or small presents. The small size of 5.2 × 3.5 × 1.4 cm suits small items that are flat and light.

Decorating the boxes

If needed, apply dark colours in two thin coats rather than one thick one, so the surface stays even. If you stick on paper, use thin paper and a little glue so the box does not warp. Leave everything to dry thoroughly before adding numbers or details.
