Craft pom poms in many sizes and colors

Pom poms for animal figures, garlands and cards

Pom poms are small, fluffy balls that you glue on, sew on or string. You use them for the noses and bodies of animal figures, garlands, embellishments for cards and gifts or costume details. Pom poms are popular for crafting with kids because they can be used right away without any prior experience.

Which pom poms suit which project

The pom poms come in various sizes, from very small to large, in single colors or as colorful mixes. Mixed sets are practical for groups and free crafting. Choose single-color packs when you want to make a particular design in larger numbers, such as a whole class full of matching chicks.

A little craft glue or hot glue is enough to attach them. To sew one on, push the needle through the center and secure the pom pom with a few stitches. For garlands, thread the pom poms onto strong thread with a needle.

• Small pom poms for noses and details
• Large pom poms for bodies and heads
• Colorful mixes for groups and free crafting
• Combine with googly eyes, felt, chenille stems and craft cardstock

Tip: Let liquid craft glue set briefly before you press on the pom pom. That way the pile doesn't soak up the glue and the pom pom stays round and fluffy.
