Versatile craft clay for children and hobbyists

751 AirDry from Goerg & Schneider is a ceramic clay that is particularly easy to shape and hardens in the air, for creative projects with children or for hobby potters. It makes first experiences with clay easy and playful, and can be used without a kiln.

After shaping, air drying is usually enough. For greater strength, pieces can be dried further in the oven at 100 °C maximum after a few days. Important: only heat fully dried pieces, to avoid cracking.

If you want the finished pieces to be durable and water-resistant, you can fire them in a ceramic kiln up to 1220 °C and apply a suitable glaze. This turns the craft clay into real, functional ceramic.
