How to attach a pendant to a split ring

Prise the two ends of the ring slightly apart with the tip of flat-nose pliers or with your fingernail. Thread the loop of the pendant onto one end and turn it along the spiral until it sits in the ring. Open the ring only as far as necessary, so that it does not get bent out of shape and closes neatly again.
