SUKI nickel-plated upholstery nails – for upholstering and decorating

SUKI upholstery nails have a nickel-plated surface with a silver finish. You can use them to fix upholstery covers and add a decorative edge at the same time. The pack contains 30 nails in size 11 × 13 mm.

Upholstery nails have a long tradition in furniture making. You can set them close together to form a continuous decorative border. With some space between them, the same row looks lighter and quite different.

Setting the nails

Mark the row of nails on the cover beforehand with a pencil and ruler or tape measure, so that it runs straight and the spacing stays even. Pull the fabric taut and tap each nail in carefully with a hammer. A piece of cardboard between the hammer and the nail head protects the surface from scratches. The 30 nails are best suited to smaller areas such as chair seats, stools or headboards.

Choosing the size

The range is available with nails of 9, 10 and 11 mm. All of them have the same length of 13 mm. The 11 mm pack gives you the largest decorative heads, but with 30 pieces it contains fewer nails than the 10 mm pack (45 pieces) and the 9 mm pack (55 pieces).
