SUKI upholstery tacks in 10 × 13 mm are brass-plated tacks with an attractive gold finish, used to fix upholstery covers and decorate furniture. The pack contains 45 pieces.

Upholstery tacks have a long tradition in furniture making. You can set them close together to form a continuous decorative edge, or space them out a little for a quite different, more relaxed look.

Setting upholstery tacks

Mark the tack spacing beforehand with pencil or chalk so the row comes out even. Drive the tacks in straight with a hammer. On wooden frames, keep a little distance from the edge so the wood does not split. On hard wood, set the tacks carefully with light taps so the head does not become misshapen.

Which size to choose

At 10 mm, these are the largest tacks in this series and make the boldest statement, for example on chair edges or stools. The same series also includes upholstery tacks in 9 mm and 8 mm, with 55 pieces each, which look more delicate.
