Swivel carabiner hook 32 x 67 mm for macramé

Swivel carabiner hook – 32 × 67 mm, for macramé projects

The swivel carabiner hook measures 32 × 67 mm and is often used in macramé projects, for example to hang plant hangers or wall hangings. You clip it on with its gate and release it again without undoing any knots.

The swivel is a rotating joint: the hanging piece can turn without the cord twisting at the carabiner.

Using it for macramé

Attach the cord to the eye of the carabiner with a lark's head knot and work your piece downwards from there. The eye should be large enough for the cord to lie flat as you knot. The hook serves as a hanging point for hobby use; it is not intended as a climbing or safety carabiner.

Which size to choose

This version measures 32 × 67 mm. The swivel carabiner hook is also available in 38 × 62 mm and 45 × 60 mm. Choose the size according to the thickness of your cord and how large you want the hook to look in the finished piece.
