Victorinox Knife Chain 40 cm – Metal Chain for Pocket Knives and the SwissTool

The Victorinox knife chain (art. no. 4.1831) is a 40 cm nickel-plated metal chain for your Swiss Army knife or SwissTool. It secures the tool so that it does not get lost. The chain is made of round links with a wire diameter of 1.5 mm and has a small ring at each end.

Only the chain is supplied, without a carabiner. At approx. 20 g, it stays light.

With or without a carabiner?

Carabiners, knives and leather pouches are available from Victorinox as separate accessories. The chain fits Victorinox split rings, carabiners and the coupling. If you want everything from one source, combine it with these parts. Victorinox offers, for example, the split ring 4.1840, the coupling 4.1835 and the carabiner 4.1845.

Attaching the chain

Use the two small end rings as attachment points: connect one to the lanyard eyelet of your pocket knife and the other to a suitable ring or hook. Before use, check that all connections are firmly closed so that nothing comes loose.
