Koh-I-Noor Lettering Stencil Set – 5 Sizes for Neat Standard Lettering

With the Koh-I-Noor lettering stencil set (art. no. 750044) you can label drawings, plans and sketches in even standard lettering to ISO 309. The set contains five stencils with letter heights of 2.5, 3.5, 5, 7 and 10 mm. The stencils are made of smoky, transparent polystyrene, so you can keep the lines and the drawing in view as you write.

Each stencil includes lower-case and capital letters, numerals and mathematical symbols. With the five sizes you can label fine dimensions as well as titles and headings, without having to readjust the lettering each time.

Lettering with the stencil

First draw a baseline with a ruler and place the stencil against it so that the line of text stays straight. Hold the pen upright and guide it along the slots of the letters. The small sizes, 2.5 and 3.5 mm, can only be used with a technical pen. Let the ink dry before you move the stencil, and wipe the stencil from time to time so that no ink residue smears the lines.

Choose the stencil according to the letter height that suits the drawing, and the pen to match the stencil.
