Pelikan Ink Pad in Blue – Refillable, for Rubber and Polymer Stamps

The Pelikan ink pad in blue (70 × 110 mm) is what you need for stamping with rubber and polymer stamps, for example on cards, in scrapbooking or for labelling. The inking surface is large enough for designs up to approx. 7 × 11 cm. The pad is already inked, so it is ready to use straight away.

According to Pelikan, the plastic case is sturdy, break-resistant and non-slip. You can open and close it easily with the grip strip. Signal stripes running all the way round show the colour of the ink. Pelikan states that the pad is good for many tens of thousands of stamp impressions.

Stamping cleanly

Press the rubber or polymer face of the stamp evenly onto the pad without sliding it. It is better to dab lightly a few times than to press hard once, otherwise ink runs into fine lines and the impression looks smudged. Then place the stamp straight onto the paper and press down evenly.

Re-inking and storage

If the impression becomes paler, you can re-ink the pad. Use a suitable blue stamp ink and apply it sparingly so that the pad does not overflow. Close the case after stamping so that the pad does not dry out and the inking surface stays clean.
