Aluminium Nose Wires for Face Masks – for a Better Fit Around the Nose

With these aluminium nose wires, you can sew a bendable nose bridge into homemade face masks. Press the top edge of the mask around your nose so that the mask sits closer to your face and seals better. Glasses are also less likely to steam up when you breathe out.

The pack contains 10 pieces, and each wire measures 90 × 5 mm. The wires are made of 0.5 mm aluminium and have rounded corners. The rounded ends are less likely to push through the fabric.

How to sew in the nose wire

Sew a narrow tunnel in the middle of the top edge of the mask, slightly longer than the wire. Slide the nose wire in and close the tunnel so that the wire cannot slip. Once the mask is on, shape the wire to your nose with your fingers. Lay the ends flat in the tunnel so that they do not rub against the seam.
