The round Meyco wooden beads, Ø 30 mm in dark brown, are intended for macramé projects. The hole has a diameter of 10 mm, so thicker cords and ribbons that will not fit through smaller bead holes pass through easily. The bag contains 4 beads.

At 30 mm in diameter, the beads make a bold statement, for example at the end of fringes, as a finishing touch on a wall hanging or as a decorative feature on a plant hanger. The series is also available in dark brown in Ø 15, 20 and 25 mm, so you can combine large and small beads in one project.

Working the beads in

Before knotting, thread the cord through the hole once as a test to see whether it pulls through easily enough. To stop the bead from slipping, tie a knot below it that is larger than the hole opening. With a 10 mm hole, you will need a thick knot or several cords knotted together. For a bead at the end of a strand, a firm end knot is enough.
