Face Beads Ø 15 mm – Drilled Wooden Bead with a Face for Crafting

The face beads are drilled beechwood beads with a painted face and a diameter of 15 mm. You thread them on and use them as heads for worry worms, small figures, gnomes or charms.

Choose your face from the options. One pack contains 1 wooden bead. As the bead is drilled, you can slide it onto wire, cord or ribbon without any glue and add a body made from yarn, scraps of fabric or pipe cleaners.

Using the face beads

Before you start, check that your thread or wire fits through the hole. To make a worry worm, slide the bead onto a wire or strong thread, tie a knot or make a loop below it that is larger than the hole, and shape the body from yarn or pipe cleaner. For charms or garlands, thread several beads onto a cord, spaced apart, and secure each one with a knot.

Which size to choose

At Ø 15 mm the heads are small and suit dainty figures and finger puppets. For larger figures, the face beads are also available in Ø 20 mm and Ø 25 mm.
