The Creativ Company loft hatch with rope ladder is a wooden miniature kit for fairy and gnome worlds, dolls' houses and dioramas. The kit contains one loft hatch (90 × 95 mm) and a wooden rope ladder, which you can use as access to the attic.

At 9 × 9.5 cm, the hatch is small enough for little scenes and suits miniatures of the same scale. According to the manufacturer, the rope ladder has a stated size of 9–20 cm.

Decorating the loft hatch

First plan where the hatch is to go, for example on a ceiling or sloping roof in your miniature scene. Paint the wood with acrylic paint before sticking it in place, as edges and corners are hard to reach once it is fitted. Let the paint dry completely, then glue the hatch in place with wood glue. You can then attach the ladder to the hatch and let it hang down as you like.
