XXL giant clothes peg in raw wood – a large surface to decorate

The XXL giant clothes peg from Creativ Company (Creotime) is a large wooden peg measuring 150 x 35 mm, for painting, lettering and decorating. It is made of birch wood with a strong metal spring and is untreated (raw wood).

The peg is 35 mm wide. This surface leaves plenty of room for names, short sayings, motifs or glued-on decorations. As a decorative peg, you can use it to hold photos, notes or cards, for example. 1 piece is supplied.

Decorating the wooden peg

Raw wood takes paint well. With acrylic paint you can cover the peg in one to two coats, and with permanent or acrylic markers you can write on it directly. Lightly sand any rough areas beforehand and let each coat of paint dry before you add lettering or motifs. When painting, it is best to mask the metal spring with tape so that it does not get clogged with paint and the peg stays easy to open. Embellishments such as wooden pieces, fabric or paper can be attached with a suitable craft glue.
