Meyco craft sticks are small wooden sticks in matchstick size for model making, miniatures and craft projects. One blister pack contains 500 pieces in natural wood. Each stick is 43 mm long with a cross-section of 2 × 2 mm.

The large quantity helps with projects where elements are repeated often, for example fences, grilles, rafts, huts or wooden mosaic surfaces. The slim sticks can also be used to lay out patterns and textures on cards, boxes or pictures.

Working with the craft sticks

The sticks are best glued with wood glue or hot glue. Wood glue gives a clean bond and is easy to dose, while hot glue sets immediately and suits quick constructions. If you want coloured sticks, paint them with acrylic paint before gluing and leave them to dry.

• For even spacing, lay the sticks out beforehand on adhesive tape or a template.
• Apply the glue sparingly so that nothing squeezes out when you glue a surface made of many slim sticks.

Which projects suit this size?

At 43 mm long and 2 mm thick, the sticks are fine enough for miniatures, dolls' houses and dioramas. For larger constructions that need more span, use longer or thicker craft sticks.
