Pine Pencil Box with Lid, 200 x 55 x 43 mm – Wooden Blank

Pine Pencil Box to Paint and Decorate

The pine pencil box with lid is a wooden blank for you to decorate yourself: paint it with acrylic paints or cover it, and you get a place to keep your pencils that suits your desk exactly. At 200 x 55 x 43 mm, the box is slim and flat, and sits comfortably on a table or shelf even where space is tight.

The box comes as a blank without decoration. You decide the colour, pattern and material of the surface yourself, for example with paper, fabric or acrylic paint.

Decorating the pencil box

If needed, sand the wood lightly and wipe off the dust, as the paint will then adhere more evenly. Apply acrylic paint in thin layers and let each layer dry before applying the next. On wood, a single coat often does not cover fully, especially with light colours over the natural wood tone. Paper or fabric, for example, are suitable for covering; stick them to the box and lid with a suitable craft glue. Paint or cover the edges carefully too, so the box looks finished from every side.
