Rayher natural wooden stars with jute twine, Ø 4.8 and 6.8 cm

Rayher natural wooden stars – two sizes with jute twine for crafting

The Rayher natural wooden stars are unpainted wooden stars for crafting and decorating. The set contains 1 star Ø 6.8 cm and 23 stars Ø 4.8 cm, plus 24 pieces of jute twine. With two sizes you can arrange the stars in layers, for example on a gift or in a garland.

The stars are 3 mm thick. You can paint, write on or decorate them as you like, or leave them natural.

Decorating the wooden stars

Untreated wood absorbs paint. Apply acrylic paint thinly first and let it dry before adding a second coat. This keeps the grain visible, or you can build up an opaque finish. Lightly sand rough edges beforehand with fine sandpaper. Use the larger star as a focal point, with the smaller stars as scattered decoration or accents.
