Rayher wooden tea box with 12 compartments and window

Rayher wooden tea box with 12 compartments – keep your teas neatly sorted

The Rayher wooden tea box (art. no. 6241500) has 12 equally sized compartments, so you can keep tea bags separated by variety. The viewing window lets you see what is inside without opening the box. The box measures 28.5 × 23.5 × 7 cm on the outside, and its flat shape sits neatly on a worktop or in a cupboard.

Each compartment measures 6.5 × 7 cm. As well as tea, the box holds coffee pods, spices, herbs or baking ingredients, and it can also be used for small items such as jewellery.

Using the box

Sort your teas by compartment, for example fruit tea, black tea and herbal tea kept apart. It is best to lay wrapped tea bags in flat, as the compartments are not very deep and the lid needs to close. Keep loose ingredients such as spices or herbs in small bags so that nothing gets mixed up between compartments.

Decorating

The wood of the box is untreated. You can paint or decorate it, for example with chalky finish paint, to match your kitchen or to give as a gift. Lightly sand any rough areas before painting and apply thin coats so that the lid does not stick afterwards.
