Small wooden Stegosaurus dinosaur to paint, 16 × 2.7 × 11.5 cm

Wooden Stegosaurus dinosaur – untreated blank to paint and decorate

The small wooden dinosaur "Stegosaurus" is an untreated wooden blank for painting, sticking things on and decorating. At 16 × 2.7 × 11.5 cm it has enough surface for patterns, colour gradients or glued-on details, yet is small enough for quick craft projects.

The surface is smooth and untreated. You can apply paints, varnishes and glue directly, without having to remove a layer first. The blank becomes a decoration for a shelf or windowsill, a small gift, or a motif for a craft project with several dinosaurs.

Decorating the dinosaur

Untreated wood absorbs paint. If you want strong, opaque colours, apply a thin coat of primer to the blank first, for example white primer, and let it dry well. Then paint the body and details in thin layers to avoid drips. If you want to stick things on the dinosaur, spread the glue sparingly and press paper, fabric or decorative pieces on briefly. Finally, you can protect painted areas with varnish.
