Artemio Wooden Pen Pot – Blank to Decorate

The Artemio wooden pen pot is a blank for making your own pen holder: you can paint it with acrylic paints or cover it with paper and other materials to suit your desk. The rectangular box has one compartment and is made of pine.

At approx. 12 × 7 × 11.5 cm, it is compact enough for a desk and still has room for pens, brushes or small tools. Because the box is plain, you choose the colour and pattern yourself, whether as a gift or a craft project.

Decorating the pen pot

Lightly sand any rough areas before decorating and wipe off the dust. Apply acrylic paint in thin layers and let each layer dry before the next. This keeps brush marks and drips to a minimum. If you would like to cover the box, paper, napkins or fabric scraps work well with a suitable craft glue. Spread the glue thinly so the material does not wrinkle and lies flat.
