What you can make with wine corks

Working with the corks

To cut a cork, place it on a non-slip surface and cut with a sharp knife in short, quick strokes, always cutting away from your hand. Hot glue is a good way to join corks, as it bonds quickly to cork. Paint adheres better when the surface is dry and clean. For animals and figures, choose corks of similar length so they stand more steadily.
