Wooden arrow sign for hanging, 40 × 14.5 × 0.8 cm

Wooden arrow sign – to paint, decorate and hang

The arrow-shaped wooden sign measures 40 × 14.5 × 0.8 cm and is designed for hanging. You can paint, varnish or decorate it however you like, for example as a signpost, welcome sign or wall decoration.

The wood is untreated, so you can get started straight away and finish the surface just as you wish. At 8 mm thick, the sign is flat and easy to fix to a wall, a fence or a tree.

Decorating the wooden sign

If needed, lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper and remove the dust. Acrylic paint covers well on wood. Apply it in thin coats and let each coat dry before applying the next. Markers or stencils work well for lettering and motifs.

Indoors or outdoors?

Untreated wood is not automatically weatherproof. If you hang the arrow in the garden or on a fence, protect it after painting with a weatherproof varnish.
