RÖMER wooden egg cup – natural wood to decorate

The RÖMER egg cup in natural wood is a blank for you to decorate yourself: paint it, stain it or engrave it however you like. At approx. 65 × 49 mm, it has the classic shape of a breakfast egg cup.

As the wood is untreated, it takes paint, stain or a pyrography pen straight away. You can make personalised gifts, table decorations for Easter or the breakfast table, and craft projects for children and adults.

Decorating the egg cup

If needed, lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper in the direction of the grain and remove the dust. Then you can apply acrylic paint, use stain to bring out the wood grain, or burn patterns and lettering in with the pyrography pen. Let stain and paint dry completely before you carry on. If the egg cup is later to come into contact with food, use only paints, stains and varnishes that are expressly intended for that purpose.
