da Vinci Brush Sleeves – keep brushes in shape while drying and travelling

da Vinci Brush Sleeves (art. no. 4880) keep your brush hairs in shape after cleaning, during storage and on the move. The set contains 12 sleeves in two sizes: 6 × S and 6 × L. According to da Vinci, the sleeves can be used more than once.

That gives you suitable protection for both narrower and broader brushes, whether artists' brushes in the studio or make-up brushes in your bag.

Fitting the sleeve

Place the sleeve at the end of the handle and slide it upwards over the brush hairs. For the best protection and shaping, pull it up over the tip of the brush. To remove it, pull it off upwards as well. Do not pull the sleeve against the direction of the hairs, as this will splay them.

Which size to choose

The set contains both sizes in equal numbers. Choose the sleeve that fits loosely around the brush head: S for narrower brushes, L for broader ones. The hairs then lie straight in the sleeve and are not squashed.
