Kryolan Old Age Stipple – latex for aged, wrinkled skin effects

Kryolan Old Age Stipple is a latex preparation for creating the look of aged, wrinkled skin, for example for theatre, film, cosplay or Halloween. You stretch the skin, dab the preparation on and let it dry. This creates a wrinkle effect that you can build up in several layers as you wish. The tube contains 50 ml, and Old Age Stipple is made in Germany.

Applying Old Age Stipple

The effect comes about because the skin under the drying latex contracts as it relaxes and forms wrinkles. Work step by step:

• Stretch the skin between thumb and forefinger.
• Dab on the Old Age Stipple with a small latex sponge.
• Let the preparation dry. A hairdryer can speed this up.
• Then carefully powder the treated area.
• Repeat the process for a stronger effect until the wrinkles are pronounced enough.

Colouring and removal

To match it to your skin tone, Kryolan recommends its special complexion colour for rubber prosthetics. To remove it, carefully peel the stipple off the skin. Store the tube frost-free, as the preparation is sensitive to frost.
