POSCA PC-8K paint marker set, 8 colours, LARGE 8.0 mm

POSCA PC-8K marker set – 8 opaque colours with a broad tip

The POSCA paint marker set PC-8K contains 8 pens with a broad chisel tip (LARGE, 8.0 mm) in black, white, green, light blue, blue, red, pink and yellow. You can use them to paint and write on wood, textiles, metal, ceramic and plastics.

The paint is water-based, matt, opaque and lightfast. Thanks to the opacity, you can also use light colours such as white or yellow on dark surfaces. The broad tip covers larger areas quickly and draws clear, bold lines.

Working with the broad POSCA markers

Before first use, shake the pen with the cap on and press the tip down on a scrap sheet until the paint flows evenly. Then apply the paint in quick strokes so that no overlaps show. For rich, solid areas, let the first layer dry and paint over it. Because the paint is water-based, you can still remove fresh mistakes with a damp cloth. Close each pen straight after painting so that the tip does not dry out.

Which projects suit LARGE?

The 8.0 mm tip suits areas, lettering and bold designs on wooden signs, stones, ceramic or fabric bags. On smooth, non-absorbent surfaces such as metal or plastic, water-based paint adheres less firmly than on wood or paper; test it first on an inconspicuous spot. For fine details, you will also need a pen with a finer tip.
