Faber-Castell Black Edition NEON & PASTEL Colouring Pencils, Set of 12

Faber-Castell Black Edition Neon & Pastel – 12 colouring pencils with SuperSoft lead

The Faber-Castell Black Edition NEON & PASTEL colouring pencils are a set of 12 pencils in vivid neon and soft pastel shades, for drawing and colouring on light, coloured and dark paper. According to Faber-Castell, the SuperSoft lead lays down soft, richly pigmented colour. Thanks to the high pigmentation, it suits a range of colouring and drawing techniques.

The pencils have an ergonomic triangular shape that sits securely in the hand and supports relaxed working, even during longer drawing sessions. The barrel is made of black lacquered wood with silver print. A special bonding protects the lead from breaking if a pencil is dropped.

Which paper and which subjects?

Neon and pastel colours look different on different surfaces. On dark or coloured paper, the pencils add accents; on light paper, they produce soft gradients and bright details. With the soft lead you can lay down colour over large areas or layer several coats to blend shades. The selection suits lettering, illustrations, sketches, bullet journals and school exercise books.

What is in the set?

The card box contains 12 pencils in neon and pastel shades. With one pencil per shade, you can combine the colours straight away without buying a large colour range. You will need a suitable sharpener to sharpen them.
