The pencils have a triangular shape with a patented grip zone, which gives a secure hold and better control. Thanks to the special bonding, they are break-resistant, and the colour washes out of most textiles. The name field on the barrel helps you avoid mix-ups, for example at school. The pencils are finished with water-based lacquer, and the wood comes from certified forestry. They are made in Germany.

Working with pastel shades

Pastel colours look soft and light. Light pressure produces gentle tones, and layering the colours makes them more intense. The thick lead covers areas quickly; for fine details, use the tip with less pressure. To sharpen them you need a sharpener for extra thick pencils, as a standard sharpener is usually too small.
