Viva Decor Pouring Medium 500 ml, thick consistency

Viva Decor Pouring Medium – thick acrylic medium for acrylic pouring

Viva Decor Pouring Medium is a thick acrylic medium for pouring techniques. Use it when you want a viscous paint application with a greater layer thickness. It comes ready to use in a 500 ml PET bottle.

Use the medium neat or mix it with acrylic paints in any quantity. It is water-based, clear and colourless, and dries to a flexible, non-yellowing surface.

Pouring Medium or FLUID – which one?

Besides this medium, Viva Decor also offers Pouring Medium FLUID. The Fluid is thin and intended for an even paint application in a thinner layer. The Pouring Medium described here, by contrast, is thick and made for a more viscous application with a greater layer thickness. Choose according to how thick and free-flowing you want your paint layer to be.

How to use

Always do a trial run before starting your actual piece, as the mixture affects the result.

• Shake the bottle well before use
• Mix the medium and acrylic paint in a cup, stirring slowly so that few air bubbles form
• Test the mixture on a sample surface first
• Then pour it onto the painting surface and let the paint flow gently
