Viva Decor Pouring Medium FLUID – thin acrylic pouring medium

Viva Decor Pouring Medium FLUID – thin acrylic pouring medium for an even flow

Viva Decor Pouring Medium FLUID is a thin acrylic additive for pouring, where the paint should flow evenly in a thin layer. It improves the flow properties and reduces cracking without the acrylic paint losing depth of colour. The medium is water-based and dries waterproof, glossy and transparent. The surface stays flexible and does not yellow.

You can use the medium neat or mixed with acrylic paints in any quantity. Viva Decor recommends doing preliminary tests. Shake the bottle well before use. Choose your size from the options.

Working with the pouring medium

The medium spreads the acrylic paint evenly and lets it flow out in a thin layer. Here is how to proceed:

• Shake the bottle well.
• Use the medium neat or mix it with acrylic paint. Stir slowly so that only a few air bubbles form.
• Pour the mixture onto a surface lying flat and let the paint flow.
• Leave to dry undisturbed and protected from dust until the surface is completely dry.

FLUID or standard pouring medium?

Viva Decor offers two consistencies. FLUID has a low viscosity and is intended for an even application of paint in a thinner layer. The standard pouring medium, by contrast, is thick and intended for a viscous paint application in a thicker layer. Choose FLUID if you want the paint to flow out flat and evenly. A preliminary test on a sample piece shows you how your colours behave with the medium.
