Talens Art Creation Acrylic – heavy-bodied acrylic paint in a 750 ml bottle
Talens Art Creation Acrylic is a heavy-bodied acrylic paint with an acrylic resin base from Royal Talens, for painting on paper, card, canvas and other surfaces. The 750 ml bottle with dispensing cap suits larger areas and anyone who uses a lot of paint. Choose your colour from the options.
According to Royal Talens, the paint dries quickly to a silk finish and is water-resistant once dry. You can use it straight from the bottle or thin it with water. The colours in the range mix well with one another, so you can mix your own in-between shades.
Working with the acrylic paint
According to Royal Talens, the paint adheres to any moderately absorbent surface that is free from grease and dust. Dust and degrease smooth surfaces beforehand. Because of the heavy consistency, brushstrokes and palette knife marks remain visible if you apply the paint undiluted. With a little water it becomes more fluid and spreads more smoothly.
- Squeeze the paint from the dispensing cap onto the palette and thin with water as required
- Thin layers dry faster than thick ones; apply the next layer only once the one below is dry
- Wash brushes and tools with water straight away, while the paint is still wet
- Wipe the cap clean after dispensing and close the bottle tightly
Who the 750 ml bottle is for
The large quantity suits you if you are priming backgrounds, painting large formats or working in a group and taking paint for several people from one bottle. For detail work, pour only small amounts into a mixing dish and keep the bottle closed.
