Staedtler Lumocolor permanent marker 314 B – broad wedge tip

Staedtler Lumocolor permanent 314 B – universal marker pen with broad tip

The Lumocolor permanent 314 B from Staedtler is a permanent universal marker pen for almost all surfaces. Its broad tip gives clearly legible labels and markings, for example on film, cardboard or plastic boxes. The ink is smudge-proof and waterproof, low-odour and quick-drying – which also makes it practical for left-handers, as the hand does not smudge fresh writing. In black it is also lightfast.

Wedge tip for two line widths

The tip is wedge-shaped. Depending on how you hold the pen, you can draw narrower lines of approx. 1.0 mm or broad strokes of up to approx. 2.5 mm. Use the edge for labelling and the broad side to fill areas or make bold marks.

Features

Thanks to DRY SAFE, the pen does not dry out for days even without its cap. An automatic pressure balance means it does not leak on a plane either. The barrel and cap are made of polypropylene. Empty pens can be refilled; Staedtler offers a Refill Station for Lumocolor permanent universal pens (487 17).

Tip for clean results

On smooth surfaces the ink holds best when the area is clean, dry and free of grease. On absorbent or unfamiliar materials, test the pen first in an inconspicuous spot, as permanent ink is very hard to remove afterwards. For finer lines, Staedtler also makes the Lumocolor permanent range in narrower line widths.
