Faber-Castell Super-Polymer Pencil Leads 1.0 mm – break-resistant refills for mechanical pencils

The Faber-Castell Super-Polymer pencil leads with a 1.0 mm diameter are refills for standard mechanical pencils with a 1.0 mm lead guide. According to Faber-Castell, they are extra break-resistant, exceptionally smooth-gliding and deep black. One tube contains 12 leads, and the filling aid makes refilling your pencil easy.

What 1.0 mm is suited to

A 1.0 mm line width gives you bold, dark strokes. This suits notes, sketches and hatching where a distinct line is wanted. For fine writing and detail, choose one of the thinner line widths in the range: Faber-Castell offers these leads in 0.35, 0.5, 0.7 and 1.0 mm. Choose the hardness grade from the options. The softer the lead, the darker the line; the harder the lead, the longer the point stays usable.

Will the lead fit your pencil?

The diameter is what matters: these leads are only for mechanical pencils with a 1.0 mm lead guide. If your pencil has no marking, measure or check beforehand. The filling aid makes refilling easier. To stop the lead from breaking, advance it only as far as you need for writing and do not press too hard.
