Staedtler Mars micro 775 Mechanical Pencil Set, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 mm

Staedtler Mars micro 775 – mechanical pencil set in 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7 mm

The Mars micro 775 set from Staedtler (775 SC WP3) contains three mechanical pencils with line widths of 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7 mm. That gives you the right lead for fine lines in technical drawing, for sketches and for writing.

Which size for what

With 0.3 mm you draw very fine lines and small lettering, for example in plans or detailed drawings. 0.5 mm is the versatile size for writing, sketching and guide lines. With 0.7 mm lines become bolder, and the thicker lead breaks less often – handy for notes and loose drafts. The Mars micro 775 range is also available as single pencils and additionally in 0.9 mm.

Features

The rigid, cylindrical lead sleeve is suited to working with stencils and rulers. It can be retracted so that the pencil does no damage in your pocket and the tip is protected. The lead is spring-mounted. Clip, push button and tip are made of metal, the grip zone of rubber. The push button holds a PVC-free and latex-free eraser. The pencils are fitted with leads in grade B.

Tips for use

Advance the lead only as far as you need it – the 0.3 mm lead in particular breaks more easily otherwise. Retract the lead sleeve before you put the pencil in your pocket. To refill, use fine leads in exactly the same size as the respective pencil, otherwise the lead may jam or slip through. Choose the grade as required: Staedtler offers matching fine leads, for example the Mars micro carbon 250, in several grades.
