Revell Email Color clear – synthetic resin enamel paint for model making and crafts

Revell Email Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint in a 14 ml tin. It does not attack the plastic surface of plastic models, and you can also use it to paint many other materials. This version is clear: the paint is transparent and not opaque. The surface underneath shows through and affects how the result looks. It suits colouring clear parts on a model, such as indicators or headlights. Choose your colour from the options.

Apart from the signal colours, all Email Color shades can be mixed with each other. This lets you match colour shades yourself.

Applying the paint

Stir the paint thoroughly before use and apply it in thin coats. As the paint is clear, the effect only builds up over several coats, and the surface underneath determines how it looks. You can overpaint with a further coat after 4–6 hours; after 24 hours the paint is completely dry. Take your time: paint applied too thickly dries more slowly and may show brush marks.

Thinning, spraying and cleaning

Thin the paint with Revell Color Mix so that you can apply it not only with a brush but also with a spray gun. Clean brushes with Revell Painta Clean and the spray gun with Revell Airbrush Clean. Clean your tools straight after use, before the paint dries on.
