UHU Creativ contact adhesive for foam sheet and flexible materials

UHU Creativ special adhesive for foam sheet is a contact adhesive for bonding foam sheet (EVA foam). You can also use it on leather, rubber and soft foam, as well as for combinations with many other materials. The adhesive is colourless and low-odour, has a strong initial tack and does not become brittle once dry. The bond therefore stays flexible and is suitable for craft projects, decoration and model making.

Because the adhesive is applied to both surfaces and the parts are pressed together after a short drying time, you do not need to hold or clamp components for long.

Bonding foam sheet with contact adhesive

Apply a thin layer of adhesive to both surfaces you want to join. The surfaces should be clean and dry. Leave the adhesive to dry briefly; how long this takes depends on the material and the amount of adhesive. Once it is touch-dry, press the parts firmly together. After a short time, a stable, lasting bond forms.

Things to bear in mind

With a contact adhesive, the surfaces bond strongly as soon as they are joined. Line the parts up carefully before they touch, as repositioning afterwards is hardly possible. Because the bond stays flexible, it also holds on parts that bend or can be squeezed, such as foam sheet figures, masks or decorative pieces.
