Notebooks and pads for school, office and art

Notebooks, pads and paper for notes and ideas

You need notebooks and pads for taking notes in class, jotting things down at the office, bullet journaling or first sketches. The subcategories sort the range by purpose into school notebooks and pads, drawing paper and sketchbooks as well as craft paper. For school, college, work and hobbies, you'll find suitable sizes, rulings and bindings in each.

How to find the right notebook

Three questions help you choose. Which ruling do you need? Graph, lined, dotted or blank – at school, the teacher usually specifies the ruling, and dotted paper is popular for bullet journals. Which size suits you? A4 for class and filing, A5 and A6 for on the go. Which binding is practical? Spiral pads open flat and fold back, while glue-bound pads let you tear off single sheets cleanly. If sustainability matters to you, you'll also find notebooks and pads made from recycled paper as well as FSC-certified products.

• School notebooks and writing pads in many rulings
• Drawing paper and sketchbooks for pencil and paint
• Craft paper for projects at school and at home
• Recycled paper and FSC-certified products

Tip: If you write a lot with a fountain pen or fineliner, check the paper weight in g/m². Heavier paper shows through less, so you can write comfortably on both sides.
