folia White Tracing Paper, Extra Strong – for Lanterns, Tealight Holders and Window Pictures

folia white tracing paper is an extra strong craft paper in DIN A4 format (210 × 297 mm) at 115 g/m². The pack contains 10 sheets. You can use it for lanterns, tealight holders, stars, greetings cards and window pictures where light is meant to shine through the paper.

At 115 g/m², the paper is much sturdier than thin tracing paper. It does not crease as easily and holds its shape better when you fold and glue lanterns or stars. The paper can be printed on and stamped.

Making lanterns and tealight holders

For a lantern or tealight holder, cut the paper to size, fold it and glue the edges. The paper lets plenty of light through and diffuses it softly. With stamps, paints or motifs cut from coloured card and stuck on, you can add patterns that stand out in the light. For tealight holders and lanterns, it is best to use an LED light. An open flame should never come into contact with the paper.

Printing and stamping

The paper can be printed on with a copier, inkjet or laser printer. Test with one sheet first to check that your printer feeds the format reliably. When stamping, apply the ink thinly and let it dry before you continue working with the sheet.
