LAMY studio Ballpoint Pen – Stainless Steel Twist Pen in Matt Black

The LAMY studio ballpoint pen is a stainless steel twist pen for the desk and on the go. It has a matt black lacquer finish and a metal clip in the shape of a propeller. The LAMY M 16 large-capacity refill in black, medium line width, is already fitted, so you can start writing straight away.

The designer is Hannes Wettstein. According to LAMY, the design has won the Good Design Award and the iF Design Award. According to the manufacturer, the studio is assembled by hand at the Lamy manufacturing site in Heidelberg.

Operation and refill

With the twist mechanism, you extend and retract the refill by turning the barrel. The tip stays protected inside the pen, and there is no push button that could be pressed by accident in your bag or while writing. The propeller clip holds the pen securely on a notebook, a pad or in a pocket. When the refill is empty, you fit a new LAMY M 16 large-capacity refill, so the ballpoint pen is refillable.
