LAMY AL-star ballpoint pen in Oceanblue – lightweight aluminium pen with large-capacity refill

The LAMY AL-star ballpoint pen M in Oceanblue has a dark blue anodised aluminium barrel and a metal clip, and is made for everyday writing at the office, at school and at university. According to the manufacturer it weighs only 18 g and is 138 mm long, so it does not feel heavy in the hand even when you write for longer.

It comes with a LAMY M 16 large-capacity refill, medium line width, black ink. The grip section is made of plastic, ergonomically shaped and transparent, so you can see the ink channel of the refill.

Refill and everyday care

The LAMY M 16 large-capacity refill holds more ink than a standard refill, so it writes for longer before it needs replacing. The refill can be changed. For a replacement, choose another LAMY M 16 so that its length and fitting match the barrel. The aluminium is anodised, which means the surface is hardened and coloured. Even so, avoid carrying the pen loose in a bag with keys, so that the anodised coating does not get scratched.

Which colour?

The AL-star is available in several colours. Oceanblue is a dark, calm blue. If you prefer a violet shade, the same pen is also available in Black Purple (model 229).
