Prym dungaree buckles 40 mm – silver-coloured fasteners for dungarees

Prym dungaree buckles are the fastening for the straps of a pair of dungarees. You sew them onto dungarees you have made yourself or use them to replace a broken fastener. The buckles are silver in colour, made of brass and slightly curved, so they also stand out as a feature on the dungarees. Each pack contains 2 buckles, enough for both straps.

The buckles let you adjust the straps comfortably to your size. The brass buckles are rustproof.

Which width do you need?

The size of 40 mm refers to the width of the tape that runs through the buckle. Before buying, measure the width of your straps and compare it with this figure. If you are sewing the dungarees yourself, simply make the straps the matching width. Prym offers the buckles in various widths.

Attaching and adjusting

To replace a fastener, remove the old one and attach the buckles to the straps of your dungarees. Then adjust the length at the buckle until the dungarees fit well.
