Prym sew-on press studs 17 mm – brass fasteners for sewing on

The Prym sew-on press studs (art. no. 341253) in silver are fasteners for clothing, bags and accessories. Each press stud consists of a socket part and a ball part in rustproof brass. The 17 mm diameter suits jackets, dresses and bag flaps. The pack contains 4 pieces, which makes four complete fasteners.

The rolled edge protects the fabric from sharp edges. Four holes help you sew the studs on evenly and securely. According to Prym, the press studs are washable up to 60 °C.

How to sew on the press studs

First mark the position on both layers of fabric so that the ball part and socket part line up exactly later. Then sew each part firmly in place with stitches through the holes. Pull the thread tight as you go and fasten it off securely at the end, so that the stud does not work loose when opened. Sew the socket part onto the side where the fastener is to be hidden, and the ball part onto the opposite side.
