Prym bikini and belt fastener – replacement for bikinis and belts

The Prym bikini and belt fastener (art. no. 416126) is a silver-coloured metal fastener, 15 mm wide. You can use it when the fastener on your bikini is broken, or sew it onto homemade belts.

The fastener is flat and the material is skin-friendly. This makes it comfortable to wear, even directly against the skin. The metal finish is rust-protected. Prym also offers bikini fasteners in transparent and gold, in case you need a different look.

As a replacement or for your own belts

Before buying, measure the width of the strap on your bikini or belt and check that it matches the 15 mm of the fastener. On a bikini, remove the old fastener with a seam ripper and make a note of how the strap was threaded. That way you can fit the new fastener in exactly the same way. On a homemade belt, plan the strap length so that both halves of the fastener close comfortably on the body.
