Prym sew-on press studs 21 mm, black – fasteners for sewing on

Prym sew-on press studs in black, 21 mm in diameter, are fasteners for jackets, bags and other textile projects. Each press stud consists of a socket part and a ball part in rustproof brass. The ball part is rolled at the edge and protects the fabric from sharp edges.

Four holes on each part give you fixed stitching points, so you can sew the studs on evenly and neatly. Because they are simply sewn on, you do not need pliers or any other tool. At 21 mm they are larger than many other sew-on press studs in the Prym range, which is available from 6 mm to 30 mm. The same size is also available in silver colour. The pack contains 3 pieces.

How to sew on the press studs

Mark the position on both layers of fabric so that the socket part and the ball part lie exactly on top of each other later. Sew the ball part on to one side and the socket part on to the other. To do this, stitch several times through each of the four holes with a strong thread and fasten off the thread securely at the end. On thicker fabrics, a longer thread with several loops helps the press stud stay firmly in place even when pulled.
