The square sew-on press studs from Prym (art. no. 347125) are white plastic press studs for sewing onto clothing, bed linen, cushions and craft projects. They measure 9 mm and have four holes, so you can fix them firmly to the fabric with needle and thread.

The plastic is break-resistant and light. That is useful for thin, lightweight fabrics that cannot take the weight of metal. The press studs are washable up to 95 °C, so you can leave them on textiles that you wash hot.

How to sew on the press studs

Mark the position of the stud and socket with chalk or pins so that the two parts meet exactly later on. Sew each part on with several stitches through all four holes and finish by fastening off the thread securely. This keeps the press stud firmly in place, even when it is opened and closed often.
