Clover Punch Needle Hoop, Ø 18 cm – non-slip, with removable legs

The Clover punch needle hoop (art. no. 8817) holds your fabric taut for punch needle work, and the non-slip system keeps it in place. The fabric stays tight while you work and does not slip. The hoop has a diameter of 18 cm.

It is made of ABS resin with steel fasteners. According to Clover, the material does not bend or warp. A wooden hoop can do so over time. The hoop is designed for the Clover punch needle.

Working with or without legs

The legs (spacers) are removable. Clover intends them for punch needles 4.5 cm or longer. The hoop then sits higher off the work surface, leaving room for the needle beneath the fabric. With shorter needles, you work without the legs.

Stretching the fabric properly

Stretch the fabric as tightly as you can. If it is loose, the stitches easily become uneven. The non-slip system keeps the fabric in place while you work. After framing the fabric, gently smooth it out once more before tightening the fasteners fully.
